WHO IS PHAT B

 

Phat B (LeProducer) is a Canadian rapper, producer & beatsmith from Montreal, Canada. In addition, he's also, in Joint venture with fellow rapper, Fic (@TheRealFic_IUMG), the co-founder of Imperial Underground Music Group founded late 2013.

 

CANADA

Active since '97, graduating at the top of his class in sound engineering (Musitechnic Institution), late 2001. That same year he released his first Ep titled "514ce" with Meta4ce, followed by "Beats by Phat B" also featuring Meta4ce, early 2003. After 5 years, he decided to take a break from the music scene, and focused on other endevours. And finally returning early 2007 with "Le Niveau Superieur" featuring Jingafly.

In 2009, he, Roc Le Noir in association with Mitch Holmes established "Terrasse West" (2009-2010) releasing a EP (HipHop ma Religion). In addition, he has also worked with several artists from the french and english Montreal scene such as Cyrano de montreal, Negsayo, Dj twitch, Beat Vandalz, etc.

 

USA & INTERNATIONAL

In 2014 Phat B was part of Producers Exposed Vol.1 along side up and coming producers such as Just Hits and Tru-G. Also later that year, in a team effort with Fic, released a very succesful mixtape called Uncrowned Kings Vol.1 via coast2coastmixtapes.com with the help of  DJ Khasper Bhinks. the Mixtape has reached out to people all over the USA and Internationally with views reahing almost 20k views and was later followed by its 2nd edition reaching out to 100k viewers. 

Over the years Phat B has met a lot of artist through Imperial Radio, a project lauched with Fic in 2016. A project that allowed them to connect even more with other artists,  A decision that they are glad to have taken.
